Urban Forestry & Climate Action

Greening cities, enhancing environmental wellbeing.

Why it matters

Resilient cities for future generations

As cities expand, green spaces are increasingly lost to urban pressure. Urban forests play a vital role in reducing heat, improving air quality, supporting biodiversity, recharging groundwater, and enhancing community wellbeing. Our goal is not simply to plant trees, but to create resilient and livable urban environments for future generations.

Vaaradhi Trust

Restoring urban ecosystems

Vaaradhi Trust works to restore urban ecosystems, improve biodiversity, and create healthier, more climate-resilient communities. Through urban forestry, park restoration, lake rejuvenation, bio-fencing, and community engagement, we are building greener cities with cleaner air, improved environmental health, and accessible public green spaces.

Urban forestry and park restoration
Our commitment

We adopt, we don’t just plant

At Vaaradhi Trust, every tree we plant comes with a minimum three-year commitment to its survival and growth. We provide irrigation, maintenance, monitoring, and replacement support to ensure saplings mature into thriving urban forests.

Our approach extends beyond trees. When we adopt a park or green space, we also invest in the surrounding community through environmental education, rooftop gardening, health camps, youth engagement, and livelihood-linked initiatives.

Our approach

Tree care and ecosystem restoration

We view urban forestry as both tree care and ecosystem restoration. Our work focuses on:

  • 01

    Long-term tree and park adoption

  • 02

    Lake and ecosystem restoration

  • 03

    Biodiversity conservation

  • 04

    Human-wildlife coexistence

  • 05

    Community-led environmental stewardship

  • 06

Partnerships with government, corporates, and local communities
